Getting There:
Ease of access via state highways and blacktop roads. Just 3 hours from St. Louis and Kansas City and a half-day drive from Nebraska, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, and Arkansas you have great access for families to connect and gather. International airport is in Kansas City and regional airports are available in Columbia and Springfield.
Cancellation Standards: Any cancellation completed with a refund will have a 5% transaction fee for the processing of the refund. Therefore, the refunded amount will equal 95% of the transaction paid. Lake Days Rentals is not responsible for the refund of fees paid directly to VRBO.

Check in was good no problems, overall kitchen was good and clean, the refrigerator was not put back together properly after cleaning from previous rental.

We had a great stay at the lake at sunrise retreat. The house was great and had everything that you need for a lake stay. There was plenty of parking, we had 3 trucks with trailers. We will be back

Was at the Lake on business for a week. Property was very clean, spacious. Kitchen is very nice, and well stocked. There is a gas odor when the oven is turned on -- opened the door and used the stove fan and it cleared quickly. I arrived after dark and was confused about locks. But I communicated with the host and it was explained to me and I was able to get in easily after figuring out the locks. I think a better explanation of how the door lock mechanism works in the pre-arrival email would be good. Rooms were clean and spacious, downstairs area had a lot of room to spread out and work - we used all three of the tables and were able to spread out all our documents. Location right on the water was serene, and we had great weather. Didn't do any lake sports or used the dock much except to sit on the swing a few times, but dock has room for you to bring your own boat, and I would stay at this property again on a real vacation instead of business trip and definitely use the dock. Host was very prompt in responding about the possibility of having a pet with a pet deposit, which we ended up not doing. But responsiveness was great. Had a small issue with the propane on the outdoor grill but figured it out. Having the carport down by the main level was definitely a plus - less steps to carry things into the house. Overall very happy with the property and enjoyed the stay.
