Had a lovely stay in Hymns, friendly and helpful staff and great location - close to town and hot springs

I was used to the types of accommodations that you'd expect around in the Philippines, but I would not recommend this place at all. Positive: It's close to the downtown area and cheap for Coron, but you get what you pay for. The girls at the front were very helpful with taking my clothes to a local laundromat at no charge, helping me move my suitcase down, and calling me a trike. Negative: My room was moldy and had an ant infestation. The ants got everywhere, especially into my clothes and bed. It is spacious but could use a few hangers to put up clothing. I didn't trust the kitchen with the ant problem. Bathroom is typical Filipino style; it had decent water pressure but no hot water. Expect the sink/shower to be in its own wetroom next to the toilet. Bring your own soap. I had to leave after two nights for a different place because the mold in the room was making my developing cough a lot worse when I was sleeping, but couldn't get refunded for the unspent nights.
