Lovely 4 bed house in Juliasdale - 2273

If you want to rent a property close to town and within easy reach of a restaurant or two, this may not be the property for you. If you want isolation in a lovely bush setting, it absolutely is. The house itself is lovely and well appointed, it has all you need to self cater, and the staff member that looks after the property met us on arrival and showed us round. He also closed the windows and curtains in the evenings, lit the very fine fire in the fireplace every evening, and even washed our car each morning. The property was kept spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds, great veranda / patio with comfortable furniture, good wifi, power backup by solar panel and battery. We were delighted with both the property and its location, it is well appointed and we were very comfortable.

Not much. The property is accessed down 4km of rough dirt road, but was easily passible in a standard car driving with some care. We were provided with clear instructions on how to reach the gate house but not the actual cottage within the complex so we had to drive around for a while to find the actual house - a What3words location would be a great help, or some final instructions to the actual house. I suppose we should have asked the gate guard perhaps. As for the house itself, the furnishings and equipment, and finally the truly excellent staff member taking care of the property, we can find nothing to dislike, it was exceptional.

Far from the madding crowd.The host Rutendo was exceptionally good. Good internet service and yhe solar electricity backup was effective.

The coordinates on booking.com are not correct which could be misleading. I wanted to be close to the World's view , Troutbeck inn and Inyangani Mountaiin and the coordinates on booking.com appears to show that when it's not the case. In fact we used the coordinates to navigate to the place and we got lost. We went past the place by over 40kms and had to track back after phoning the property manager.
