4 star holiday home in Åmål

The location was superb. The house was incredibly spacious, with a huge plot of land that gave us plenty of privacy and room to relax. We absolutely loved the hot tub, paddleboard, small boat and kayak — there was so much to enjoy! It’s only a 10-minute drive to Åmål for groceries and anything else you might need, while the house itself is wonderfully peaceful and quiet. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, including plenty of plates and cups, a coffee maker and filters, a waffle maker, and a huge fridge and freezer. Everything was thoughtfully organised, with beautifully presented instructions explaining details such as where to get firewood and how to connect to the internet. There was always plenty of hot water, and although the washing machine was old, it worked excellently. We travelled with children, and they absolutely loved the property. The garden was spacious and felt very safe for them to run around and explore. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-equipped and family-friendly getaway.

The only downside was sheets and duvets. They weren’t as clean as I expected them to be but we spoke to the manager and they will look after it for the next rental.
