Ribera del Duero

The home is like a family vacation home, with an absolutely amazing swimming pool, a green oasis in otherwise very hot surroundings. We enjoyed breakfasts on the porch, we spent a lot of time swimming, the rooms are comfortable and the house is easy to keep cool despite temperatures reaching 38 Celsius. The nights are cool, en due to perfect anti-insect gauze, all windows could be open all night to have a comfortable night and a cool home in the morning. Our host was absolutely lovely and went out of her way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We read previous reviews mentioning the water from the well. This water seemed clean to us. It was obviously not chlorinated, but suitable for showering, cooking etcetera. The host provided huge bottles of water for drinking, which felt like a perfect solution to us. Despite the proximity to the Douro/Duero and the canal, there were very few mosquito's and zero mosca negra.

The direct area around the house is a bit dilapidated. There is a dirt road to the house, and the house is within earshot of a larger provincial road that has trucks by daytime. There are multiple houses on the road, some of which are perfectly maintained and renovated, others are beyond repair. This didn't bother us, because we spent our time within the confines of the property or doing daytrips. It might be relevant information for other travelers though.

Todo. La casa es preciosa y la tienen muy bien cuidada. En ella, tienes absolutamente todo lo que te puede hacer falta. La dueña, Ana, es súper agradable y tuvo varios detalles muy bonitos con nosotros. Si tenemos que volver a Valladolid, repetiremos sin duda.

Me gustó todo. Está muy apartada de todo y eso es lo que buscábamos en ese momento. Paz. Ahí la tuvimos.

El alojamiento presenta una gran amplitud y estupendas instalaciones para disfrutar con familia y adultos .

La casa era increíble, para pasar un fin de semana con amigos o familia esta genial, super acogedora y los espacios al aire libre una maravilla, sin duda repetiremos.
