Excellent communication with the owner, very easy to find an access. The lady working in the attached shop was very friendly and helpful when my wife and I needed to ask for her help. The property had everything we needed for our overnight stay and was very comfortable. The Durham Ox pub is a minutes walk away and is definitely worth a visit. We would stay here again without hesitation and highly recommend it.

A lovely period cottage in a quaint location within easy walking distance of the local pub.
There was a slight smell of damp and the water in the kitchen sink didn’t work. However these things are to be expected with an older property.

We loved that it was dog friendly! We also really enjoyed eating dinner at the Durham Ox Pub. Thank you for that recommendation. The fittings and furniture were artistically combined to create a sense of beauty and calm.
