2 Mi to Saint Vincent College: Home in Latrobe

We really enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again. My son goes to St. Vincent and had to have surgery and this was a perfect place to recover. Everything was clean, easy to get to every where we needed to go. The full kitchen was great to be able to make meals there instead of always out. We were so comfortable it felt almost like home.

If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. There is a lot of street noise and the train behind the house runs at night. It didn't bother me, but might someone else. It might be better in the colder weather, the window AC units might have been letting in more noise that if the window was closed.

I loved how the inside was immaculately clean and super cute! The hosts literally thought of everything that you could possibly need if you forgot something. The location is really close to downtown and not far from school. It was a great place for me, my husband, my parents, and my son (a college student at St. Vincent College) to cook dinner and hang out together! Communication with our hosts was EXCELLENT. We had no issues whatsoever. We will definitely return!

I wish that there were deadbolts and/or additional security latches on the exterior doors. A bathroom on the first floor would have made it a little more comfortable, but it was not a deal-breaker. Stairs were a also little steep, but it was a short flight so not a huge issue for us.
