Recepção, o apto estava impecável na limpeza. Super cheiroso. Sempre muito cuidadoso e atencioso com o hóspede. O apartamento fica no fervo da Lapa, próximo de vários mercados, restaurantes, padarias, lavanderia. Eu amei a experiência.

Poderia ter uma tomada próximo do sofá. Mas isso não é algo ruim.

Me gustó mucho el departamento, muy cómodo, con espacios bien distribuidos. El único detalle fue que un día llovió tanto que las calles se inundaron y los taxis no me llevaban desde el metro hasta el alojamiento, así que tuve que caminar. Pero todo lo demás estaba genial, cercano a botecos, negocios, lavanderías, al supermercado mundial, a ferias, mercados y a las bicicletas itau. Era tan cómodo que me costaba salir.

Que fuera un problema la lluvia que inundó las calles y no existiera opción de taxis que me llevaran al alojamiento desde el metro.

The host was very kind, responsive, and genuinely tried to help when issues came up. The apartment was also clean on arrival.

For one person, the price might be acceptable, but for two people it became extremely expensive and not worth the value. Adding an extra guest doubled the price, and for the same total amount there are much better options in this area. Although the listing mentions air conditioning, there is only one unit for the entire studio-style apartment. Several doors could not be closed properly (including the bathroom), and the kitchen has no door and a window that cannot be closed at all. As a result, the apartment stayed hot all the time and the air conditioning was ineffective and very loud. This is not a general “Rio heat” issue — I stayed in other apartments the same week with no problems. The sleeping setup was also poor for the price. There were no proper bedsheets (no fitted sheet), only a synthetic cover and a blanket, which did not feel comfortable or hygienic to sleep directly on. There was also no basic soap provided. Many electrical sockets were loose and items were falling out of the walls, which did not feel safe. There is no real separation or door for the sleeping area, no blackout blinds, and the room gets very bright from early morning, making proper rest difficult. Overall, the apartment feels low quality and poorly maintained for the price charged, especially during New Year’s period.
