Resort Walsdorf

Green surroundings, no masses of tourists, quiet, air-condition in bungalow, daily bread service, plenty of charging stations for electric cars, 20 minutes drive to Müllerthal and Eifel, lots hiking facilities in the area, plenty bars and restaurants within 15-20 minutes drive.

Restaurant / bar at resort was only 3 days open per week, and the menu was limited. No manual how to operate the television in accommodation. Road to the resort when leaving the main road, is very small and with many pits. Also no lanterns.

Mooi klein maar zeer compleet huisje, met een mooie ligging en fijne airco.

Het huisje was schoon, maar wel erg stoffig. Voor mensen met astma (zoals onze dochter) minder fijn.

De rustige omgeving. Goed ingericht huisje.

Geen haakjes voor hand of theedoek.

Clean and modern modular houses with decent kitchen utensils. Quick and seamless check in / check out (with form completed in advance). Green location surrounded by trees, although there is not much to do on the property (no pool, no river, very basic playground, no hot tub at least in our cabin)

Terrible value for money. I paid almost a thousand euros for one night, and found the basic level of service to be absurd for this price level. For instance: the beds were not made and instead guests have to make up the bed on arrival (pillowcases, duvets, bedsheets, etc are in plastic bags). No supplies whatsoever are provided for the bathrooms beyond a towel and toilet paper - not even a simple soapboar to wash your hands with. These minimum service DIY camping policies at a thousand euros per night just feel like a rip off. I have stayed at another nearby camping/glamping site in Luxembourg before and found it much better value for money.
