Sukau Sandipau Stay

A perfect place to switch off, escape the busy real world and enjoy nature and what the river safari has to offer. Basic but clean and comfortable rooms (no air con but fan on wall and extra fan provided). The best part was the staff - attentive, caring hosts who cooked us delicious home cooked meals (small extra cost) and organised and provided the river tours. This is a much cheaper option than booking with a tour and you get the same (if not better as its more exclusive) experience - we saw 3 of the big 5 and it was amazing.

No wifi.

What an amazing experience, fantastic to be looked after so well by the family. Amazing food that was cooked by the Mum every day. The river tours were all brilliant we spotted elephants, Monkeys, wild orangutans, large crocs. Sunrise river cruise, sunset river cruise. Definitely an experience to remember. The best part was how welcoming the whole family was we were incredibly well looked after

The lodges could do with a bit of paint to refresh them but that is about it

Excellent séjour chez Adira et sa famille! Les excursions (bateau et trek) étaient super, les repas délicieux et variés. Adira est charmante et consciencieuse et a tout fait pour rendre mon séjour agréable. Elle a également réservé un bus et un transfert pour ma prochaine destination.

Il n’y avait pas de moustiquaires dans la fenêtre et dans la salle de bain il y avait un espace ouvert entre le mur et le toit.

Basic, clean accommodation, just as described. Located at the river banks, easy to hop onto the boat for a spectacular tour. Super friendly family run place with exceptional tasty lunch and dinner.
