For budget travelers looking for basic lodging (but with everything you need!) in a wonderful area in the center of London -- you really can't do much better than this. Tulio was a very kind, helpful and exceptional host. He was available and could answer questions, give good London travel tips, etc. When I left early in the morning and realized I'd left my glasses there, I let him know and he quickly went to the post office, packed them up and mailed them to me. Thanks, Tulio -- I'm so grateful!

So I didn’t end up staying. My communication with the manager was great and I can’t fault that. The reviews are very good but the listing should be clearer what you are getting.
I didn’t understand when I booked that this is the manager’s flat in a housing estate. I believe that he lives there and there is a shared bathroom/ toilet. From all the reviews I’m sure he is lovely but it’s not what I wanted as a solo female traveller. It could be me but I think this set up should be clearer in the listing. My trip was unrefundable which is annoying
