The view is incredible and we loved the sound of the lapping waves. Fishing (though we didn't catch anything) is so convenient with the lake right on your doorstep. We enjoyed walking around and discovering the property's interesting rock formations. The indoor fireplace and starry skys were spectacular. A good place to bring boardgames, read and unwind.
The resident bat in the open lofts freaked the kids out. You can hear the sounds from the lofts in the bedrooms below. While we still had fun, the playground was under water.

Location excellent, on the lake. The lake is massive and definitely worth a visit. Friendliness and helpfulness of host was brilliant. The town is small and quaint.

The Location is beautiful and the assistance to get to the unit was very helpful and kind. The facility was very tidy and neat with all the essentials required. There was a lot of rain at Chrissiesmeer and under the circumstances everything was as good as it could be.
Unfortunately, there was bat in the unit, and due to the size of the unit, the bat was very noticeable.
