Orion Beach Cottage B - Jervis Bay

Close to everything

Great setup and close to the beach. Easy to get in and out of as well. Air conditioner worked great for the really hot days.

There were quite a few bugs around the place and ants kept crawling into the bathroom. The beds were also not that comfortable.

The house was really clean and had everything you need, we could cook a full meal for a family of 4 w ease. Its also located really close to the beach and the supermarket is just a short drive away. The beds were comfy and surprise to find a big dvd collection for family movie time. The host was quick to response too! We really enjoyed the stay very much!!

Just a small problem regarding the bathroom door was it was too close to the floor and always got to drag on the tiles that makes an unpleasant noise.

The location was great.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness wasn't the best, there was grass and hair on the bed sheets, and an orange stain on the top bunk bed pillow. The pots and pans are unusable, one was border line rusty. I couldn't cook pancakes or fried eggs due to the food just sticking. The lack of towels was stressful, as we only got 4 towels, but once 4 people use them and there is no dryer, I had to request more towels which eventually came, but they placed the towels on the front door doormat on the sand and dirt, they didn't knock the door or place them in a bag. There was no egg flipper either. I think if a property is next to a beach, you can assume that the family will need a dryer due to constant wet towels etc.
