Mudskipper - West Wittering seaside house

The location is incredible. So close to the beach but also in a very peaceful and quiet area with very little traffic, so it feels very calm and relaxing. The garden space was brilliant, too, with a trampoline to keep kids easily entertained and a lovely space to look out onto from the house. The house is really well appointed with most things you need for a large family or two to stay there - plenty of toys and entertainment for young children, as well as very comfy and inviting for the adults. The window seat is the best seat in the house! We felt right at home and we'd love to return.

The property was 'surface level' clean, but if you looked under anything or moved anything slightly it didn't seem to have been cleaned very thoroughly. There were also a few small things missing from the kitchen that would have been really handy, like kitchen roll (we bought this, but would have been great to have a bit there to start with), and more bowls (there were only a couple of bowls that we could find, compared to plenty of plates!) It would also have been very helpful if there were beach towels (and maybe even more 'beach'-style toys like bucket, spade, bodyboard etc.) provided for use as those things are bulky to bring! I know that's asking a lot though :)

The location was superb - about a minute's walk from which we could see from the front bedroom windows. Lovely spaces to spend time together, inside and out. We enjoyed the jigsaws that were there! Plenty of parking (we took 3 cars).

The house was a good size for the family. Rooms were a good size Log fire was very nice, toys and games for the grandchildren

Marks on the bed sheets and pillow cases, bit expensive for 3 days.
