The actual apartment is fine. Located in a secure block. Big fridge and hot water. Modern and simple fixtures. The security lady at reception was incredibly helpful and tried her very best to assist.

Had asked in advance if we could leave bags prior to check in, told yes. Also enquired about the possibility of early check in and told to ask on the day. Had thought that as it was in an app block, and had been told yes, that this would be fine. Alas not. We waited 5.5hrs to be able to leave our bags. Had conflicting responses from owner and his assistant, who was rather abrupt. Initially told we could check in at 1pm rather than 3pm, this was later revoked. Very bad communication. Back and fort for 5.5hrs The bed sheet was too small for the mattress, so not fully covered. No pots and pans when we arrived, and were asked to go and get some from another appartment in the same block, 26hrs after we reported the issue. Curtains almost impossible to open. Big gap down edge of curtain, with bright lights from the gym opposite, shining directly onto your face. It’s a shame that their communication and service was so bad, this really let them down. If you have a very early arrival time, as we did, and want to stay here, book the night before. This is the first negative review I have ever left on this platform. This was all on 1 January, but bad service is bad service.
