숙소가 굉장히 깔끔하고 쾌적하고 좋았어요! 주방도 잘 되어 있어서 근처 마트에서 장봐와서 저녁도 간단하게 해먹었어요.(주방 도구 다 있음) 밖은 엄청 더웠는데 에어컨을 틀지 않았는데도 방 안이 엄청 시원하더라구요!!(물론 에어컨도 있습니다) 그리고 집주인 마테오 아저씨께서 체크인할때 오셔서 맞이해주셨는데 짐도 들어주시고ㅠㅠ 정말 친절하셨습니다!! 하루만 묵은게 너무너무 아쉬울 정도네요! (다만 2층인데 엘리베이터가 없으니 이점 참고하세요)

This might be the loveliest apartment I have ever stayed in. It is so pretty and so well-decorated. It was really well-situated for visiting Salerno, just a five minute walk from the Duomo and historical centre. There were shops nearby where I could get groceries to make my own meals. The hosts were super welcoming and messaged during my stay to check whether I needed anything. It was absolutely perfect for my solo trip.

The location was perfect for visiting Salerno itself but about a half hour walk from public transport (bus/train/boat) for when I wanted to go to other places on the Amalfi coast. This wasn't a deal breaker, walking through Salerno to get to the station is no hardship! Despite loving the apartment I have to admit the shower wasn't great. I recommend showering in the mornings, I got more hot water that way... The air circulation wasn't perfect either, so wet things took a long time to dry. (That said I was visiting in May - this might be different in the heat of summer!)

The apartment was beautiful in all respects. It comprised a very large room furnished with a couch, a comfortable double bed, a round dining table with two chairs and a well appointed kitchen area. The adjacent spacious bathroom featured variegated tiles in tones of blue with a blue and white flowered basin to match. So much careful attention had been devoted to detail, reflected in the colour coordination with the pale green of the sheets matching with the fridge and the coffee machine,. The equipment in the kitchen was of good quality and plentiful , even the knobs on the cupboards were of high standard. The charm of the apartment was enhanced by the decor, including local ceramic plates and mugs. It was an old, historic apartment with stone arches that had been lovingly restored. The host was very welcoming and sent me detailed information on exploring Salerno.

The only negative aspect was the sound of construction which commenced around 7.00 am in the morning from workmen renovating other apartments in the building. Also the apartment was a bit if a trek uphill from the train station.

Everything was perfect, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Salerno. It was close to the center, surrounded by grocery stores, cafe bars, and pizzerias.
