This is an awesome historical spot with outdoor seating. Parking pass, kitchenette, smart TV, king bed, backyard and new deck, and keyless entry.
Its location, a short walk from the Supreme Court, Senate, Capitol Building, Eastern Market, H Street Corridor/Whole Foods, and Union Station make this the perfect pit-stop for your DC visit, whether for business or pleasure. Public transportation is easy and I include a parking pass as well if desired.
PARKING: On-street parking requires a zoned parking permit, which is provided free of charge for guests to park one vehicle during their stay upon request. Parking for additional vehicles we recommend SpotHero App. PLEASE REQUEST PARKING PASS WHEN MAKING YOUR RESERVATION.

Very clean and easy to access the unit. It’s in a great location and the host is very nice!

On the plus side, the owner is very responsive and the location is hard to beat. This alone makes this unit a good choic for visiting the national mall and other Washington attractions. Bathroom is in need of some updates as taking shower standing in the tub with curtains on both sides is not the most convenient experience. Likewise, the kitchen could use a better fridge as the one there right now has a single shelf only so I had stuff fall out when opening the door. And be careful with the countertop there, you'd have to bend much or squat to access it and it's recessed under the countertop so be careful not to hit your head. The bed is large, but you have to squeeze in as there is hardly any space on the sides. I was also in a bit of doubt about how well the linens and the towel in the bathroom were washed. I saw a small yellow blotch on a bathroom towel and thought it might be some permanent stain but later after some use it was no longer there which made me a bit uneasy about the cleanliness aspect. Otherwise, it was great to stay there and I enjoyed the convenience of the location.

Although we weren’t even there for 24 hours we enjoyed the space and will definitely book again next time we are up in DC!

The place was clean and cozy. However there was a family staying upstairs with young children who ran around from 6:30 am until 10 pm off and on. Unfortunately it sounded like a herd of elephants when they did run.
