Blue Door at Lake Serene

I've stayed here twice now. I feel the first time was more enjoyable. This time was last minute, booked four day the morning of a 5pm check in time, so the host was accommodating but we felt they weren't quite ready for us. Dishes were dirty, water in the shower looked like the pipes were rusty. Ran orange. Only got one towel for the two of us, even after requesting a second one. They seemed to be doing some sort of construction or something. So there was quite a bit of loud noise and people walking around that didn't seem to be staying there. Felt a bit invasive. I'd bring a sleeping blanket too if you visit. There's only a sheet and itchy thin top blanket. Almost like a hospital bed. And the beds creaked a lot.

Cozy, clean, and warm. There was a bit of noise from the fridge or heating system that would cycle though out the night. You may want to check that out as it would wake me from time to time.

It was a short trip, but I think that’s all I could’ve done in this space. Perfect for just using if you’re planning on being out all day. You can hear everything going on when you’re in your room. You are connected to the other properties. You could hear the conversations going on in the other rooms. And heard when they ran their water too…it was just not ideal. But we were barely in the room so it worked out. The listing said theres a washer and dryer but it didn’t specify that it’s shared with everyone so maybe mentioning that in the listing. The tv also randomly turned on which was weird. All and all I don’t think I’d stay there again, but it was alright for what we needed it for.
