About this apartment rental
4-room vacation apartment, 90 square meters, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms/toilets
The vacation apartment (renovated in 2021) is located on the 1st floor and features two balconies (east- and south-facing) with views of our garden and the surrounding mountains.
We’d like to share a little of our love for nature and genuine solid wood with our guests.
The oak hardwood floors and handcrafted solid-wood doors create a wonderful place to relax and unwind.
The spacious and very bright vacation apartment, when occupied by 3 or 4 people (90 square meters of living space), features
two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, dining room, and two bathrooms/toilets (when occupied by 3 or more people). For bookings of 2 people, you’ll have 75 square meters of living space.
If you’d like to use both bedrooms for a party of 2, this is also possible for an additional fee.
You can store your sports equipment in the basement or garage. Our apartments are equipped with free Wi-Fi, a radio, and a TV (flat-screen).
Our Bergheimat guesthouse is located in the beautiful village of Ried—1 km from the climatic health resort of Obermaiselstein.
The small but charming village of Ried enjoys a quiet and idyllic setting with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
With two farms as neighbors, even our youngest guests can enjoy seeing cows, horses, and sheep.
Whether it’s summer or winter, you can start your hike or bike ride right from the house through green or snow-covered meadows.
Just a few steps from the house is the bus stop for the free regional bus service. In winter, the free ski bus takes you directly to our family-friendly ski area, Berg-und Naturerlebnis Riedbergerhorn / Grasgehren, which guarantees snow.
Obermaiselstein is synonymous with family-friendly vacations in close contact with nature. It lies at the foot of the Hörnerkette mountain range and in the heart of the fascinating landscape of the Nagelfluhkette Nature Park, which spans the border between Germany and Austria.
