About this house rental
Cooter Valley is a newly built cottage in the secluded Indian Valley Neighborhood! Take a 5 minute stroll to the boat ramp to fish or relax by the camp fire. Use our 2 kayaks or bring your own boat! Enjoy our large covered patio where u can see and hear the water…it has a smart tv, pellet/gas grill, outdoor games & lots of seating! You’ll see why it’s our guest favorite spot!
The space
Whole entire house and parking lot to yourself! There are neighbors on all sides with nice dogs that roam. We have a Large outdoor space with seasonal Lake Views and walking distance to Indian Valley boat ramp! Large covered porch has a table that seats 6 plus other seating around.
Guest access
We have a large gravel parking lot for all your trucks and boats!
Other things to note
We allow one dog inside under 30 lbs or 2 small dogs, non shedding. If extra cleaning is involved because of pets an extra fee will be imposed. Please note that neighbors on both sides have friendly dogs that roam. Message me with any questions!
Please note that the water levels from December through April are extremely low and not recommended for boating, kayaking and fishing. Indian Valley is a secluded lake community….If you’re coming to get away from the hustle and bustle to hang by the fire and spend time with family you will find that here. The closest restaurants and grocery is in Leitchfield 30 minutes away. We are also a dry county so stock up before you come!
Feel free to bring your golf cart! The neighborhood has family friendly golf cart poker runs every other weekend in the summer!
We don’t have a dishwasher BUT we do provide all the disposable goods you’ll need!
We don’t have a kitchen table inside only an eat-in kitchen Island that seats 4!
Absolutely NO food or drinks in upstairs loft.
No tape or supplies allowed on walls.
We rather you not flush toilet paper or any paper products. We have a new septic system and want to keep it that way. If you have questions about this please message us!

Great place to stay however the neighborhood dogs are a nuisance. Might I add, we are dog people.

House was clean and well stocked with anything we may have needed. Host was accessible and checked in often. We go to Falls of Rough every year and would definitely stay there again.
