CliffSide Apartments

- The view - The inside of the apartment was good, new bathroom and kitchen and very clean. - The location was perfect

For the price we paid (Over£1000) it was disappointing that the following standard basics were not available: - No sun beds on terrace, unlike neighbouring rentals and.20 euros a day to rent a sunbed at the pool.. At nearly 70, lying on the grass instead is sadly not an option! - Very small, lumpy pillows and no pillowcases for the extra, more supportive pillows that were in the cupboard - No kitchen starter kit (eg dish cloth to wipe surfaces or a couple of dishwasher tabs) - Poor maintenance - only one wine glass, dead batteries in lamps and clock, broken hinges on cupboards etc. - Very slow communication and apart from auto mated first and last message which was in English, all other replies 24 hours + later and only in Portuguese. It seems the very young staff are responsible for too many properties (saw at least 40 keys waiting to be collected) and consequently customer service and maintenance don't really get a look in. Focus seems very much on profit margins (fines for everything from checking in after 7.00pm, checking out late, not taking the rubbish out etc!) rather than customer experience. It could be fantastic with a bit more thought, such a shame.

Location and pool

The wired fence around the pool doesn’t look nice. It looks like it under construction.

Beachfront, amazing views, place was clean and had everything you need.

The view is amazing and THATS IT Nothing else.

Firstly, you have to grab the keys from a different place and then take a taxi to the apartment . Secondly, in the facilities they say they have outdoor swimming pool and when I asked how can I access it they said they do not have access to it. Third, when you stay for a 3 days and two nights you expect at least three toilet paper roll but we were only provided with two which was finished by the 2 days. Fourth, the shower cabinet was rusty and sticky which eventually was not usable. Fifth, we were two people and there was only one sun bed and even that was dirty and broken unfortunately could not use . The apartment didn’t even had enough lighting in it. One of the kitchen shelf was broken, toaster was dirty. This company runs a real estate business and they should stick to it hospitality is not their cup of tea. They should visit some better apartments and learn from it how to have the apartments and hospitality. I hope they improve and get themselves better
