One Dutch Hotel is in a superb location in the Financial District, importantly close to Fulton Street Subway station which connects to lines that go all over New York City, throughout Manhattan, and on to the Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens, so you can easily get anywhere. The neighbourhood in the business area is safe and has a number of superb food choices nearby from 2 Bros Pizza, Tacos Del Barrio, Apollo bagels, and Joe's Pizza to name a few. It's close to the iconic Wall Street, the Charging bull, the moving 9/11 site and One World Trade Center and within walking distance of the Staten Island Ferry and the Brooklyn Bridge - all iconic sights in New York. We had a room with two double beds, a sofa bed and a bunk bed accommodating a family of six. It had a kitchen with a microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, kettle etc making it a home away from home rather than a hotel. There's a washing machine and dryer too. All making the stay comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and there's a free luggage store allowing you to leave suitcases and explore a bit more of New York on your final day.

The room we had didn't have any views or much light coming into the rooms given its location among tall buildings in Lower Manhattan. But we didn't spend a lot of time in the daytime there as we were out exploring.

There is no cleaning service, the staff while they are friendly do not help with anything I had to carry 7 huge bags by myself to the room and down again with very little assistance while they could see I was struggling
