This was a seamless expereince from booking to check-in to our return home. The condo is very close to the beach and provides a public access about one short block away either by foot or car. While it isn't needed to take your car, it is nice if you want to bring a group and supplies (cost $30).
The unit is large, clean, quiet and well stocked. The building is a mix of owner occupied and rentals. It is clear the owners take pride in their building and are very quick to enforce the rules. Make sure you read them as they are clearly outlined in the listing. For example there is a limit of 5 in the unit and dogs over 20 lbs are not allowed. Someone tried to bring one into the building and a message went to all units through a loud speaker. While they are dilligent they are respectful of privacy and pose no concerns around using facilities.
There is one parking spot and an older but well maintained and clean pool. Laundry is $2.25 per load and there is a card in the unit.
The owner as put good thought into some nicer touches. The wagon of beach supplies was very handy and having an extra set of keys for the storage unit containing it was great. Within the rules they make it clear the building is not accessable however the only issue is getting up the flight of 8 stairs. Everything else can be accessed by elevator.
The cost was lower than comparable units in the area and I felt it was an exceptional value for the space and location.
Would recommend to anyone looking to be in Daytona Beach Shores!

Stayed in unit 505, staff was helpful, our host was amazing. The unit has a beautiful view of the beach, and there is nothing that our host hadn't already thought of. Beds were very comfortable, layout of the whole unit is perfect. 10/10 would recommend
