Location was not bad to local facilities

Parking. Being a close, street parking was full and being out of area travellers, parking far away to warm to the house at the time we arrived there close to midnight was not fun

We had a lovely stay this weekend! The property is set in a quiet and peaceful location, perfect for a relaxing break. The house is a great size, with a spacious downstairs area and access to a well-equipped shared kitchen and living room, all of which were clean and tidy. Check-in was smooth with easy access via keyboxes, and the property was simple to find on Google Maps, which made arrival stress-free. There’s also a large driveway with plenty of parking, and the bed was super comfy—we slept so well! Communication was excellent throughout. The hosts were very responsive via Booking.com, and we were also able to easily reach the owner/manager by phone whenever we had a question. The house hosts were lovely and welcoming, which really added to the experience. All in all, a fantastic stay—peaceful, practical, and well-managed. Would definitely recommend!

Although we were originally meant to stay at Digby House, we were provided with a lovely alternative home instead. While this property was around 5 minutes further drive, it was still a beautiful house and we were happy with the change. However, we had booked 2 double rooms for our group of 4 (2 adults and 2 children), but on arrival we found the house had 1 double room and 1 single room. Luckily, one of the children ended up not coming, so it worked out—but it could have been a tricky situation if we’d all turned up as planned. We also had a small issue during our stay—one of the adults with me accidentally locked herself out of her single room at 1am with no way to get back in. We’d recommend maybe adding a spare room key to the keybox, or even placing a small reminder note inside the bedroom door saying "Have you got your key?" before stepping out. Lastly, there was no Wi-Fi available. Even just having free Wi-Fi or the option to connect would be a great addition for future guests. And having a kettle in the room with some tea/coffee/milk/sugar would be great instead of having to go downstairs for one.
