The unit itself is adorable & cozy. It was very spacious and had everything we needed including an iron & ironing board. Loved the added touch of providing a water-filter pitcher. We are huge water drinkers so that came in handy as we aren’t always fond of tap water. The mattress is super comfortable. We loved how close it was to Mrs. Wilkes. Made it easier to wait in line & take turns either in line or in the unit.
The handle on the toilet is broken. You had to “finagle” it so it wouldn’t “run”. With the nightly rental rate, a new toilet should be an easy fix. Yes, you have to walk up several flights of steps, so not conducive to anyone with mobility issues. We enjoy exercise so did not mind it…other than when having to lug our luggage to and from. It’s located on beautiful Jones Street. Close to Forsyth but a farther jaunt to the Boardwalk…but we like to walk. The mattress is very comfortable but the bed itself is very high. I am 5’2” and I pretty much had to jump to hop into bed 😂
