Excellent location- book the seaside view!

Stunning location. Book seaside - its much better than the rear rooms.

I had booked a double room with rear view (which was a view on some tubing and roofs) which had technical problems with the bathroom. It was not repaired despite early indication. At first, no further action was taken and we were told that the property was fully booked. When I complained again, we were given a full upgrade - and what upgrade it was! We got the triple room with seaside view - so much better! If you can, book that one from the beginning.

It was a perfect relaxing stay

Location is perfect, near the beach and the village, staff super friendly and professional, amazing breakfast, dog friendly. It also has a small spa center with a pool, that served well on rainy day.

Incredible location. Large, spacious rooms. Amazing breakfast. We went for a swim in the North Sea every morning.

Overall, we had an amazing stay and would come back any time. We had to collect and drop off the keys in Westerland and also could only leave luggage behind in Westerland. This might be changing in the future. Would be amazing to be able to leave luggage for a few hours right at the hotel in Kampen.

Bestlage und sehr schönes Zimmer

Eine der besten Lagen auf Sylt. Unser Doppelzimmer im Dachgeschoss bot eine Rundumsicht über Weststrand, Sturmhaube, Quermarkenfeuer bis zum Wattenmeer. Besser geht es nicht. Die Schlüsselübergabe in Westerland war unkompliziert und da man eh in Westerland auf der Insel ankommt hat es uns auch nicht weiter gestört. Die Rezeption im Strönhof selber ist nicht dauerhaft besetzt. Das Zimmer im zweiten Stock ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und war sehr sauber. Die Größe war perfekt. Das Bedezimmer war groß genug und es war alles da was man braucht. Ein Manko im Strönhof wäre das es nicht barrierefrei ist. Für uns nicht relevant, aber man sollte es zumindest erwähnt haben. Wir konnten keinen Aufzug entdecken und zumindest unsere Dusche war mit der Badewanne kombiniert. Da ist wahrscheinlich für Menschen mit körperlichen Einschränkungen eher nichts. Wie gesagt, uns hat es nicht gestört und der Zimmerpreis ist auch günstiger als beim Konkurrenzhotel in der Kurhausstraße. Der Spa Bereich ist sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet und es gibt einen schönen Pool zum entspannen. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert und wir kommen gerne wieder! Das optionale Frühstück haben wir nicht in Anspruch genommen, daher kann ich hierzu leider nichts sagen.

Frühstück perfekt. Personal wunderbar. So kann ein entspannter und schöner Tag anfangen.

Alles perfekt, man müsste ein Haar in der Suppe suchen, das ist uns zu doof, mit Gewalt nach Fehlern zu suchen. Das ist zu anstrengend, daher haben wir uns auf das wesentliche und schöne im Strönhof konzentriert. Kann nur jedem empfehlen diesen Ort aufzusuchen

Überraschend super Lage in Kampen mit Blick auf die Heide beim Kliff. Ableger des schönsten Hotels in Westerland. Schönes Apartment modern eingerichtet. Hübsches Bad. Sehr persönlicher liebevoller Service unter anderem durch den Chef und die Chefin und das ganze freundliche und kompetente Team. Überraschend abends noch eine Sause vor der Tür mit Getränken und Musik und Würstchen.

Für Gehbehinderte: Kein Aufzug verfügbar.

Die Lage der Unterkunft hat die vielen Defizite, vor allem den Preis, nur teilweise kompensiert.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut, der Preis dafür aber viel zu teuer!

Der Schlüssel musste in einem anderen Hotel, 7 km entfernt, abgeholt werden. Die Rezeption in der Unterkunft war nur am Vormittag besetzt, für Rückfragen musste immer das andere Hotel angerufen werden. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, der Preis dafür aber viel zu teuer! Falsche Information für den Internetzugang. TV hat nicht funktioniert, vorhandene Bedienungsanleitungen haben keine Lösung gebracht. Das Zimmer war sehr klein, das Doppelbett nur 160 cm breit, das Bettzeug war 100% Kunststoff, daher war schwitzen angesagt.

Der Strönhof wird renoviert und gepimpt. Man sieht das Potential. Hoffentlich bleibt das das Preisniveau unter dem Hotel Hamburg Westerland, die es managen.

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt in Kampen

Die Lage des Hauses ist einfach fantastisch… wir hatten ein Zimmer mit großer Terrasse und Meerblick. Der Saunabereich und das wirklich schöne und große Innenpool sind einfach traumhaft! Kein Spannteppich, gediegene Möblierung- auch der Frühstücksraum mit Blick auf das Meer, lassen keine Wünsche offen! Wenn Sylt- dann hier!

Die Schlüsselübergabe gestaltete sich sehr schwierig, da einige Straßen gesperrt waren. Dann - das Hotel liegt in einer Fußgängerzone in Westerwald- leider ohne Hinweis wo man stehen bleiben kann und wo die Türe zur Schlüsselübergabe ist (keine Hausnummer !!)In anderen Hotels haben wir in solch einem Fall detaillierte Angaben zugeschickt bekommen- diese trübte die Anreise leider - das muss nicht sein! Das Frühstück kostet 37.-/ Person- das ist zu teuer, war aber gut und sehr abwechslungsreich.
