Durban Holiday Apartments by Mieli Estates , Unit 4

The welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk, sugar, biscuits and rusks was above what we expected. all the facilities in the unit worked well. the linen was clean and the unit was very clean. The view from the unit was relaxing and the atmosphere was quiet.

a bannister from the the bottom to the top of the stairs would make access a little easier. Parking a vehicle was also a challenge. a clothes horse to hang wet towels would have helped getting them dry.

Host was friendly,welcoming and everything was perfect. Prudence was exceptional, she was always there when we need something. She was always available. We were safe,security was very friendly too. There was also other guest by the name of Toni,she was very friendly too. The place is very quiet and in good area.

The property was kitted out with everything we needed, living room was very comfortable and Ty views are lovely to wake up to in the morning. We didn’t spend much time in the property as we were attending a 2 day wedding but for anyone looking for good value for money and need to be in the area, I’d definitely recommend.

The apartment was nice, very clean. Prudence was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. The host Fiona was helpful with the issue that we had and was kind enough to fully refund us provided that we checked out the same night.

1 bathroom toilet was very small but that could be overseen. We braaied on the balcony around 5:30pm and sat to eat on the balcony set up around 6:15pm. It was getting dark so we had to switch on the light. We jus sat to eat as we see this swarm of mosquitoes fly towards us. We had to collect Everything from the table n rush inside. I have never seen so many mosquitoes in 1 place. We couldn't even open the balcony door afterwards. We concluded that this was due to a river that ran behind the resort. This was really not on and i just wish this information was available before booking.
