The Baltic Sea resort of Schönberg is located about 20 kilometers northeast of the state capital, Kiel, in Schleswig-Holstein. It offers stunning beach areas such as Kalifornien Ostsee, Schönberger Strand, and Brasilien Ostsee. There’s plenty to discover along this coast: You can experience the unique natural landscape—with dunes, steep cliffs, and salt marshes—while strolling along the white, gently sloping sandy beaches.

Just 600 meters from the dazzling white Baltic Sea beach, an unforgettable vacation experience awaits you in our charming Swedish-style cottage.

Relax in an atmosphere that promises pure relaxation while you enjoy the unique view of the picturesque Au from our 600-square-meter fully fenced property. Our lodge can accommodate up to 8 people, making it perfect for families or a relaxing vacation with friends—even with your four-legged friends.

In our cozy, well-appointed home, you’ll find 4 double-bed bedrooms, 2 modern bathrooms with showers, and a light-filled living-dining area with a spacious kitchen. Enjoy your free time with complimentary amenities like DAZN TV and the best movies and series on Netflix, even on days when the weather isn’t great.

And that’s not all! Relax in our sauna, let the fresh sea breeze blow around you on the sandy beach, or enjoy sunny days in our seasonal beach chair right next to the house (available from April through October).

Our prices are transparent and fair. They include all utility-based charges as well as final cleaning. And of course, up to 6 dogs are welcome in our smoke-free home at no extra charge.

On-site costs: The prices listed are based on a maximum occupancy of 8 people and include all usage-based utilities as well as Wi-Fi, sauna, and final cleaning.Upon receipt of the written booking confirmation, a deposit of up to 20% of the rental price, but at least EUR 200, is due. The balance may be paid by deposit or bank transfer to the owner’s account. Cancellation Policy: The guest may cancel the contract at any time prior to the arrival date. As a result, the owner forfeits the right to the rental price; however, in this case, the owner will charge the following flat-rate cancellation fee, taking into account any expenses saved, which is due immediately:– Up to the 49th day before the start of the trip: 20% of the rental price, with a minimum of EUR 200– up to the 35th day before the start of the trip: 30% of the rental price– up to the 21st day before the start of the trip: 60% of the rental price– up to the 14th day before the start of the trip: 90% of the trip price– otherwise, 100% of the trip priceIf the rental service is not utilized, the owner is obligated to rent the property to another party as soon as possible in order to avoid losses and minimize damages as much as possible. The owner is nevertheless entitled to an administrative fee of 200 euros. I recommend purchasing travel cancellation insurance. Cancellation notices must always be submitted in writing and addressed directly to the owner. Check-in is possible from 2:00 p.m. to midnight.Check-out is possible from 12:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. A security deposit of 100€ is charged for the first dog; 200.00€ is charged for each additional dog. The security deposit is to be paid along with the remaining rent. The deposit will be refunded via bank transfer after the guest’s departure. Cash refunds require prior arrangement. Keys are provided via a key safe (MobileKey system). Dogs are allowed at no additional cost. During the early season (March 15 through April 30) and late season (October 1 through October 31), a tourist tax of €1.50 per person (ages 18 and older) per night will be charged on-site. During the high season (May 1 through September 30), a tourist tax of €3.00 per person (ages 18 and older) per night will be charged on-site. The tourist tax must be paid on the day of arrival at the Tourist Service office in Kalifornien or Schönberger Strand ( bezahlen.Im ). The base rate includes parking, Wi-Fi, the sauna, the fireplace, and multimedia (Netflix, DAZN). Please smoke outside. The rental property must be left swept clean upon departure. You must bring your own bed linens; however, you have the option to book bed linens and towels through a website. Please contact the host to arrange this.
