Nestled on the Back River and just a short stroll from the Back River Pier and beach, this spacious retreat offers comfort, style, and water views—perfect for families or small groups looking for a quiet coastal escape.
This 3-bedroom, 3-bath home sleeps up to 8 guests and features a modern open-concept main living area with brand-new furnishings. The well-equipped kitchen has plenty of counter space, a breakfast bar for four, and a dining area with seating for six—ideal for gathering after a day in the sun.
Relax in the cozy living room with two comfy couches and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV, or step out onto the main deck and take in the serene views of the Back River. Whether you’re sipping morning coffee or enjoying a sunset glass of wine, it’s the perfect outdoor spot to unwind.
Sleeping arrangements include:
Primary Bedroom (3rd Floor) – King bed, en-suite bath with large shower, flat-screen TV, and private balcony with stunning river views and outdoor seating.
Bedroom 1 (2nd Floor) – Queen bed, flat-screen TV, access to a private balcony, full bath in the hallway.
Bedroom 2 (3rd Floor) – Two queen beds, flat-screen TV, private balcony, and access to a full bath down the hall. A washer and dryer are conveniently located in the hallway.
Enjoy the private backyard with beautiful river views—great for watching nature or letting the kids play (note: no dock, swimming, or fishing allowed from the property). There are two staircases inside connecting the floors, and parking is available for up to 3 vehicles in the driveway (garage not for guest use).

No access to the dock; no swimming or fishing from the property
No grilling allowed

The house is beautiful and has great views. I enjoyed being on the back river side of Tybee. The beach is more private/quiet. Each room was spacious and had its own bathroom. We had 5 adults and 3 kids and it was perfect! I can’t wait to book again here.

The house was exactly as advertised. Everything was clean and neat, the check in/out process was simple. The location was perfect and the views were even better than the pictures. We got lucky with great weather and pretty sunsets every night.

Joy was a pleasure to work with during the rental process. She is very kind and helpful. Location of Barts River Retreat is absolutely awesome! Our Thanksgiving was so fun. We could walk to action but enjoyed the quiet neighborhood while hanging at the house. Barts is perfect for several families. I recommend eating at The Deck and AJ’s for waterfront dining.
