Stella Regia Apartment 1

A spacious, comfortable and clean flat in a fantastic location. The balcony looks directly out over Lake Konstanz and there is a lake-side beach and safe lake swimming directly across the road. The design of the flat meant that it stayed tolerably cool despite it being 36°C outside and it was quite comfortable with a fan that we brought with us on. The ferry terminal for Konstanz was an easy 15 minute walk or a single stop on the bus, which was free with the Bodensee Echt card that guests receive, and central Meersburg was one further stop on the bus or a steep climb from the ferry terminal.

On our first night we made the mistake of leaving the balcony door open after dark for a short while with lights on inside, and before we knew it there were thousands of tiny flies all over the flat which had died by the next morning. The shared laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryers is really useful, but it would have been helpful to have laundry liquid provided, particuarly as there's no supermarket or shops nearby.
