This home is beautiful and so well decorated. We loved its location (we were spending a lot of time at West Point) and also really loved getting to explore Newburgh. It was easy to get into this space, there was ample parking, the rooms are all spacious, and it was easy to relax.
This is an old home, so the heating system was a bit irregular in the bedrooms (one was quite warm and the others cooler). But that is part of the charm :)

The garden could be kept a bit better and we had a problem with the wifi for half of our stay, but all in all, I would recommend and book The Cardinal again.

I like the rooms were spacious, tidy, with towels, easy to locate instructions for WiFi, condiments and cooking utensils for use.
I didn’t like that the washer and dryer gave clothes after use weird smell. I would have liked more cooking utensils like a bowl, potato peeler and strainer. Hopefully when provider would help next guests.
