About this apartment rental
Souldern Road is a very large light-filled two bedroom maisonette (two floors) in the 'village' of Brook Green in the heart of Kensington Olympia, an easy walk from High Street Kensington. The apartment (the ground and first floors of a typical Victorian West London mansion house) features a huge open plan sitting and dining room, and two cosy king sized and twin bedrooms. Heathrow in 25 mins. Central line access to central London (25 mins). Free wifi, and a warm welcome. Longer lets available at Kensington Property Management.
The space
This unusually spacious maisonette apartment has a very large open plan living/dining room located upstairs, complete with a large dining table. Adjacent to the dining room, there is a well equipped modern kitchen with fridge, freezer, dish-washer, oven, hob, coffee machine and full cooking equipment.
Downstairs there is a large main bedroom with a king size bed and also a twin room with two single beds and good storage. The bathroom is spacious with a large bath and separate shower. Towels and bed linen are provided.
There is a widescreen Smart TV in the sitting room and wifi.
This area of West London is within easy reach of Heathrow Airport (25 mins by car, Tube or taxi), and a stone’s throw from super chic Kensington & Chelsea. Magnificent Holland and Hyde Parks are just down the road, as is the amazing uber shopping mall at Westfield. There are many nearby Tube stations for easy access to central London. One of the best gastro pubs in London, the Havelock Tavern is just down the road and many other popular eateries in the pretty residential area.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely hone.Elizabeth & Hugo were spectacular hosts—extremely accommodating and quick to respond to any queries, which made everything smooth.The house itself is spacious, stylish, and well-maintained. Both the bedroom and bathroom were generously sized, providing a very comfortable living space. It was a very hot summer in London, and without us even asking, they thoughtfully provided a fan, which made a big difference!The kitchen was fully equipped with all the appliances and essentials we needed for home-cooked meals, which was a huge plus.Location-wise, it couldn’t have been better. It’s a short walk to Holland Park, and there are plenty of great cafes and restaurants nearby. Tesco is just around the corner, and the tube station is conveniently close. The neighborhood itself is quiet, peaceful, and feels very safe—perfect for relaxing after a busy day in London.The only downside was that the Wi-Fi wasn’t accessible for the first few days, and once it was fixed, the speed was quite slow. This might be something to keep in mind if you’re planning to work remotely during your stay.Overall, we highly recommend this home and would absolutely stay here again!
