Nestled in the serene landscapes of Bradford, NH, Zen Retreat Cabin is a modernized vintage cabin designed for true downtime—surrounded by wetlands, pines, and forest paths, yet just minutes from lakes, trails, and mountain day trips.
Inside you’ll find an open-concept living space, a fully equipped kitchen, A/C + heat for year-round comfort, and a curated library of books on nature, mindfulness, and personal growth. Unwind by the fire, journal with a view, or simply watch the light change over the wetlands.
Sleeping (up to 5 guests):
Primary bedroom (1st floor): Queen bed
Second bedroom (1st floor): Full bed + direct backyard access
Loft bedroom (2nd floor): King bed, barn-style doors, plus a half bath
Bathrooms: 1 full bath (main level) + 1 half bath (loft)
Step outside to a deck overlooking the wetlands, outdoor seating for coffee or stargazing, and easy access to the surrounding woods.

The rental is an updated 1970s ski chalet that has been updated for comfort, yet rustic for nature immersion. Come spend a little time unwinding from the grind of life. Just relax.
For those seeking more adventure, we are only 15 minutes from Lake Sunapee and Mount Sunapee to enjoy mountain biking (bike stand in the basement), skiing, swimming, kayaking, or relaxing on a Sunapee Lake Cruise. There are beach chairs available in the shed and there is plenty of covered areas for bikes and ski gear.
Minimum stays: Holiday weekends and school vacation weeks require a 4–5-night minimum (depending on the calendar), including Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Winter Holidays/New Year’s, and Presidents’ Day. January, February and March require a 2-month long rental.
Centrally located between Concord Hospital, New London Hospital, and Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center — ideal for traveling healthcare professionals on 13-week assignments.

The house was perfect for our needs! It’s about 18 minutes from the ski slopes. The beds were super comfortable. The hosts left thorough instructions regarding the house and the activities in the area.

The home was great. Well decorated, beds were all comfortable. Easy to get to and easy access to Mt Sunapee. Fit our family perfectly

Location was great for skiing at Mt Sunapee. Nice wood stove for a couple of those chilly nights. Very prompt snow removal of the driveway and front deck. We were able to cook full meals with the appliances and pots and pans available. Wish that there was a larger rug in the entrance way since there was salt and some small stones that tracked in each time. The rugs could use a little cleaning and maybe get a new mattress pad for the queen bed downstairs (urine stains on pad when we stripped the bed). Overall it was a comfy place to stay.
