I was happy with my stay overall! The home was as pictured—clean, comfortable, and in a great location. It’s directly across from a coffee shop and just a block from an ice cream shop, which added a lot of charm. The bed and couch were both very comfortable, the kitchen included helpful basics like silverware, plates, seasonings, and a coffee maker with pods, and the night lights in each room were a nice touch. The bathroom included shampoo and conditioner but bring your own body wash!
When I had to reach out about WiFi information the guest contact was responsive, and all amenities worked well—including the smart TV and window A/C units. One note: the A/C in the bedroom is in an east-facing window, and using it blocks the curtain, so the sunrise comes in pretty directly—light sleepers may want to bring an eye mask.
The biggest issue came before check-in. I was sent the door code several weeks in advance, and after asking, I learned the code isn’t changed between guests. It took a lot of time and follow-up on my part to get any clarity or resolution on that, and it definitely impacted how comfortable I felt. I was glad I brought my own portable safety devices, and I really hope the code policy is updated for future guests.
If that concern is addressed going forward, this would easily be a 5-star stay.
