This cabin is a great stay nestled in the mountains and was covered in snow when we arrived. I was initially hesitant to book a cabin that didn't have internet, especially in a mountain town that is known for not having cell service, but there was surprisingly good connectivity with tmobile at the cabin itself. Not that we needed it but it helped Google maps plot a course to Snowshoe mountain which is only 30 minutes away. This stay is pet friendly and the space behind the cabin was large enough for my dogs to run. The cabin doesn't have a TV but instead has an intimate living room with a wood burning stove and a large selection of board games. All in all I'm glad we decided to stay here for a our family snowboard trip. I look forward to booking it again in the future
The road leading up to the cabin is what I would consider a back road that the snowplows don't prioritize. If coming in the winter, I'd recommend people to take this into consideration. My car is FWD and had snow tires on so we faired pretty well but having a AWD car or chains would have put my mind more at ease.
