Awesome interior for the family. My daughter really loved the log cabin design and staircase to the top beds. The location is very convenient and close to the supermarket, shops, and Echoland.

I wish there were some common condiments and spices for cooking. There wasn’t even salt or pepper.

Location, cleanliness

Very cute and spacious (for Japan) cottage. Shower had great pressure, kitchen had everything you needed including big fridge and dishwasher. Smart TV was good so we could watch English speaking channels on our nights in. There was plenty of space for our family of two adults and two teenagers, including floor space for our luggage. We loved the cottage and were very happy staying there. Great heater too. Parking right in front of the cabin. Easy walk into main street of Echoland. Washing machine was handy.

Bathroom was always cold, couldn't work out how to heat it, wasn't a major problem though as the rest of the cottage heated up beautifully. Separate bedroom only had a smaller bed (bigger than single but smaller than double bed), with the larger bed for two people upstairs in the open loft alongside single bed. Would have preferred the bigger bed more suitable for two people to be in the separate bedroom. It would be great if there was a lounge in the main living area to relax on, after big days on the mountain, there is only a dining table and chairs. There is a lounge upstairs in the loft but it just faces a wall. I understand there are some space issues so not sure how it would work, but we did miss a lounge in front of the TV.
