913 Sweety Diamond View

La vue est fantastique avec en prime le coucher de soleil le soir. Le calme de la résidence et la possibilité d'utiliser la piscine. Très bien situé pour parcourir le sud de l'île. Nous y retournerons si nous revenons un jour en Martinique.

Avons eu un peu de mal à trouver la résidence de nuit : il faut vraiment taper Black Diamont dans Waze. Manque quelques ustensiles de vaisselles : pas de tire bouchon ni décapsuleur et quelques verres en plus style long drink aurait été parfait.

Une vue imprenable, sans toit devant.... Au calme.

Le logement est bien situé, dans une résidence certes "abandonnée" avec la fermeture du bar/restaurant, mais elle est tout de même entretenue, propre et du coup très calme. La literie est confortable, le balcon offre une superbe vue, le parking est facile et gratuit

Impossible de déjeuner dehors le midi car la table est en plein soleil (mais c'est pas bien grave, on veut qu'il y est du soleil !). Il manque de quoi poser les gels douches dans la douche

The view was absolutly amazing! Exactly as in the pictures.

After we have made the booking, a couple of weeks before arrival we got a message that the facilities at the hotel black Diamond (the bar, restaurant and pool that are shown in the pictures) were closed due to off season. Except for the pool that were still in use. But when we arrived at the hotel the cabdriver asked if we were sure we had the right adress since the hotel as gone out of buisness. The overall shape of the resort was wore down and yes, obviously out of buisness (since 2024 when i googled it). The restaurant, bar, waterslide and the big sunbeds had not been taking care of in years. It was clear it had nothing to do with "off season", but rather out of buisness. BUT even though if we had known this in advance, we would still have booked it (but expected a lower price) since you could use the pool and there were sunbeds you could use. And the studio we lived in was in generelly good shape, except for some mould in the closet and on the bed, which lowered the overall state of the studio. The biggest thing that made up the misinformation about the facilites and the mould was the balcony and the view. WHAT A VIEW! If you are staying at here I also highly recomend taking the forest path to the restaurants and bars in the town. When you step out of ghe gates to the resort, you keep to the left and walk through the forest on a path for about 5-10minutes. Leave the heels!
