Eshborns House - Near Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and SGR with shuttle services at an extra fee

I had a wonderful stay here and would definitely recommend it. The hosts I met were all women, and they were incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful. The service was thoughtful throughout my stay. The property is located in a private residential area, so I felt very safe and comfortable, even when taking a taxi back. It is also quite close to the airport, which was very convenient for me. The room was spacious and very clean, and there were plenty of shared spaces. The living room was large and comfortable, and there was also a microwave and refrigerator available in the common area. What impressed me most was how kind the hosts were. My flight was delayed, and since there were no new guests arriving, they kindly allowed me to stay in my room for several extra hours. I also ordered food delivery, and they helped me collect it, which I really appreciated. I booked a Safari tour during my trip and chose to stay here both before and after the Safari. If I come back to Nairobi in the future, I would definitely choose to stay here again. Thank you so much for the lovely experience!

The staff were so welcoming and I felt so at home. Breakfast was delicious and cooked fresh every morning. My room was very comfortable and the facilities were clean. They were able to arrange transfers to the airport and also a day trip around Nairobi. I had a fantastic stay and I would stay again!

It’s not very close to shops or restaurants - you can get deliveries arranged and there’s a full kitchen which you can use, but it’s something to be aware of

There's a lot to like here. It's a big house with lots of extra rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful. The internet works. It's inside a gated community & surrounded by a high fence. The staff were friendly & organized a taxi for us to an uncommon destination 3 hours away for only Ksh10K (US$75). The breakfast was a bit unusual but OK (an egg, 2 sausages, & 3 pancakes without anything to put on them).

The shower was decidedly ... funky. It's a 220vAC instant water heater mounted right at the shower head. To switch it, you're standing in water & we got shocked a few times trying to get the hot water to work. Eventually one of the staff helped us & then it worked OK. Also, being inside a gated community means it's out of the way of everything (no way to get to anything nearby) & our taxi to the house had to honk to get them to open the gate. So it's safe & secure, but perhaps overly secure.

I just slept there, came midnigth and left early.

Mosquitos. They like me, but I don`t like them. Net would be good.
