It had everything we needed there, pools, several mini marts and a supermarket. Also, a hairdresser, beauty place. The apartment had everything we needed as well, cooking facilities, washer and dryer, and 2 reasonable sized rooms. We loved being in District 2 away from the hustle and noise of the city, but we were close enough to go in most days. Otherwise we loved it and if we were to go back, we would definitely stay here again!
I wouldn't say we didn't like it but English was not spoken by many so make sure you have a translator app. To be clear, these are residential apartment's so there would be an expectation that most would not need to speak english. Everyone is very friendly though but language barriers made things a little bit difficult at times. Our problem, not there's 🙂

I’ve stayed here three times now. Whenever I come to Saigon, I always check this place first because I value consistent service. The host is very accommodating and always helps with an early check-in if possible. The apartment is always clean, tidy, and fresh. Great view from the balcony! Diamond Island is honestly one of the best areas to stay in Saigon—quiet, peaceful, and secure. Plus, it has several pools and a well-maintained green territory.
