Stunning Caravan With Side Decking Just A Short Walk To Hembsy Beach Ref 00069Ba

Location was excellent, near to Hemsby town and beach all easy walk to. The bungalow was clean and well proportioned.

The hot water gave up on day before we left. Waited for plumber who actually did nothing but turn on and off until it suddenly started working. We couldn’t have a shower from the beach until early evening due to no hot water which was problematic for the kids and us. Tap in kitchen temperamental but useable. Very narrow single beds, kids kept falling out of them .

Clean, modern caravan. Easy to line on arrival and a good base for exploring Norfolk

Didn’t like the fact that electricity was by prepayment card at meter. Would not have minded if we’d been made aware of this at the time of booking. As it was we only used a couple of pounds worth of electricity, it was the unexpected that was the issue.

Very clean and spacious for the family. There was all the necessary equipment for a comfortable stay.

The neighbour across road (long term resident) was very rude and kept walking past caravan looking inside. Was opinionated and kept telling us what we should not be doing.

Arrived to lovely, clean, warm caravan.

Unfortunately there were problems with the boiler during our stay which left us with no hot water until mid afternoon of the day after check in. I reported this on the morning of the 2nd day and it took more than 4 hours for someone to come and resolve the issue, so we had to resort to boiling water with the kettle in order to have a wash and to wash up! We went out and returned to what appeared to be a fixed boiler, but we then discovered later that evening there was no heating in the main living area, so we were sat around in our coats. Not ideal when travelling with my 79 year old mum. I have reported the issue, but was offered no compensation for the inconvenience, only a free early check in or late departure if we visit again, which is unlikely.
