Loved the location. Very rural and away from everything, although there was a cottage next door, which I hadn't appreciated. That said, it didn't negatively impact out stay.
Warm welcome on arrival and Gail & Nick were very hospitable leaving a bottle of wine on arrival. They even provided some charcoal when asked if they had any.
The cottage had a table tennis table, boules, board games and comfy outdoor loungers which we enjoyed as the weather was warm.
Pillows soft but a little lumpy. I personally like a feather pillow, but appreciate there are some with allergies.
Mattress comfy, but a larger King size bed, rather than a Double, would have been more lovely. Some additional kitchen equipment ie. pan flipper helpful and scissors needed, but we managed no issue.

Loved the location which was free of traffic noise, just the sound of the cows and sheep which grazed nearby. Our hosts were brilliant and the garden was great for relaxing in. The cottage was super cool during the heatwave.
There was nothing to mention here.

Superb location, cottage was cosy and spotless. The bath was an added bonus!

Wren cottage is a beautiful cottage. Very cosy, it has everything you need & lots of space for two people and large dogs. Beautiful surroundings, very quiet, every need catered for.
It would be better with an enclosed garden for the dogs. There is load of space for them which is great and an open field that can be walked in but when sitting outside it would be nice to not have them on leads
