The location was wonderful - close enough to the coast and towns to make trips easy, but far enough away to be very peaceful. The friendly hosts met us at the house and explained everything clearly. The house was clean and beautifully presented, with plenty of space for the four of us (adults). It was easy to find trails from the village, and the scenery is magnificent! All appliances worked well and seemed pretty new. They left us some homemade liqueurs - walnut and cherry - which were delicious!! They also said we could use their parking space in Tucepi, three minutes walk from the beach, which was extremely handy!

We were a little bothered by nasty mosquitos, so repellent is necessary. Also, the Aga style oven is only used in the winter, so the only cooking sources were two gas rings, a microwave and barbecue grill (although this was really great) in the shed. Being Brits we would have enjoyed a toaster as well!
