Everything was set up for us upon arrival and the room was really clean and spacious. The view of the duck pond was lovely. We ordered a takeaway and had some trouble with the delivery with the location but there is an air fryer in the room which isn’t advertised on the booking so you could take food.
My partner tried to surprise me with the romantic add on package so he rang up with all of the booking information and offered to pay over the phone as the booking was through my account which meant he wouldn’t be able to make it a surprise as I would see the messages. The person he spoke to on the phone said that it could only be added on through booking.com which he couldn’t do so I would say if you are wanting to add anything on make sure you book it under your account. The bed was comfortable but a little unstable on the legs so we felt like we needed to be really careful getting in and out but apart from that it was all lovely.

The location and facilities were great, it was a lovely little retreat to enjoy for a few days.
