We appreciated the friendly and accommodating attitude of the staff at Kababayan Pension House. Their warm welcome made us feel comfortable during our stay. However, there were a few areas that need improvement to enhance the overall guest experience. First, while we were assured that basic toiletries like soap would be provided, this was unfortunately not fulfilled. It would be helpful for future guests if such commitments are consistently met. Second, during our stay, the entrance was flooded due to heavy rain. This made it quite difficult to access the gate. We even had to place wooden planks to cross without getting soaked. It would be beneficial for the management to consider ways to improve drainage or implement flood-prevention measures in front of the property to ensure accessibility at all times. Inside the room, we noticed that the table hadn’t been wiped clean, and some parts of the room were not as tidy as expected. The sink was also damaged, making it inconvenient for us to use it for basic hygiene needs like brushing our teeth. Overall, while we appreciated the hospitality, we believe there’s room for improvement in terms of cleanliness, maintenance, and ensuring customer convenience. Our satisfaction with the stay was moderate, and we hope these issues can be addressed for the benefit of future guests.
