Welcome to your modern retreat in the heart of Mississippi Ave — one of Portland’s most walkable and beloved neighborhoods. This thoughtfully designed unit features sleek lines, warm wood cabinetry, and stylish furnishings that feel both homey and elevated. The open-concept living area has a streaming-ready smart TV and lightning-fast WiFi — perfect for relaxing after a day out. The kitchen is stocked with full-size appliances, a Keurig coffee maker, cookware, dishes, utensils, and everything you need to cook at home or reheat takeout from the food cart pod down the street. A/C keeps the space cool in the summer, and large windows bring in beautiful light year-round.

This is a private apartment in a five-unit building. The apartment interior is yours; there are no shared interior living spaces inside the apartment. Guests may pass through building entry areas to reach the unit.

You’re staying in one of Portland’s most iconic neighborhoods: Mississippi Ave. Within a 2-minute walk, you’ll find boutiques, breweries, music venues, and some of the best eats in the city — including Eem, Lovely’s Fifty Fifty, and ¿Por Qué No? Expect a mix of locals and visitors strolling the street, biking past colorful murals, or catching a live show at Mississippi Studios. It’s safe, central, and buzzing with creative energy.
Getting Around:
🚶 Walking — Mississippi Avenue is one of Portland's liveliest strips, packed with restaurants, bars, music venues, and unique shops — all within walking distance.
🚌 Bus — TriMet Route 4 (Fessenden) runs along Williams and Vancouver avenues every 15 minutes with direct service to downtown (~15 min).
🚲 Biking — BIKETOWN bike-share stations nearby. Portland's bike lane network makes cycling easy and safe.
🚗 Driving — Free street parking is generally available. Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) typically arrives in under 5 minutes.
✈️ Airport — PDX is about 15 minutes by car. The MAX Yellow Line at the nearby Albina/Mississippi station connects to downtown and other MAX lines for airport access.

The host was very responsive to our questions. The apartment was very clean and close to all the shops. There are variety of shops and restaurants within walking distance of the apartment. These places are cute, funky, eclectic and fun to visit. this is a great area to stay in.

Near great restaurants, shops, bars, and music venues, this comfortable, and clean apartment is a great location from which to explore the area and then to relax in after.

Disappointed. Pictures look promising but I wish the actual apartment was more thoughtfully finished. The pretty living room rug pictures was not there. Most importantly the only vent to bedroom is blocked with solid wood under the floor vent cover so there’s absolutely no ac or heat getting into bedroom during heatwave in June. My partner slept on sofa with no sheets or blankets because the bedroom was so hot in heatwave. No dresser either so you live out of suitcases on the floor. Window shades in living room don’t close so no way to block bright white exterior front door light at night. Two towels are not enough for three days for 2 people. Owners did respond promptly & dropoff a throw blanket & more towels when we requested. Location is great to walk to cool neighborhood but noisy at night especially with open windows at night since no ac in bedroom.
