About this cottage rental
Our recently updated 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage on Lake Kanasatka in Moultonborough,NH is perfect for a peaceful getaway. We have 80ft of a sandy walk-in beach and a private dock for your boat or to just catch some fish. Take a tour of the lake in the kayaks or canoe available for use and keep your eyes peeled for the bald eagles and loons. There is an expansive outdoor deck with an outdoor couch and chairs, dining table and a gas grill that is ideal for dining and relaxing while watching all the activity on the lake. Take your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail down to the Adirondack chairs near the water and enjoy the stunning views of the lake and Red Hill. Enjoy cooking s’mores and stargazing while sitting next to a cozy fire in the large stone fire pit every night.
Inside the house are 2 bedrooms, 1 with a queen bed with a tv, and the other with a double bed, both have closets and dressers for your use. The kitchen is stocked with many utensils, dishes, cookware and all things needed for entertaining. The open concept kitchen and living room with all new floors is where you can enjoy beautiful views of the lake or watch your favorite show on the flat screen tv. The den is off the kitchen; it has a flat screen tv as well, and this room can be transformed into a private bedroom by closing the door to the kitchen for privacy and by using the sofa bed that opens up to a double bed. The bathroom has been updated with a new vanity and new shower surround. The house also has a bonus screened in porch that is located on the back of the garage facing the lake. It has a couch, tables and chairs along with some fun lighting for ambience. This is a great spot to play cards or games at night, or to just relax and read a good book. The house comes equipped with a mini split to help cool down during those very humid summer days; the living room has a ceiling fan, and there are also window fans for all rooms and a standing fan available.
The house is conveniently located near the the boat launch on the lake. We are minutes from Rte 25, which is perfect for exploring downtown Meredith or Center Harbor, and both have boat launches to Lake Winnipesaukee if you would like to take your boat or kayak over there for the day. There are also many hiking trails in the area, some of which can be found at nearby Castle in the Clouds. Weirs beach is only 20 minutes away. There are many restaurants in Center Harbor and the surrounding areas and a visit to Moulton Farm, which is 5 min down the road, is a must for sweet treats or fresh fruits & vegetables. There is a small grocery store in Center Harbor, Dunkin Donuts and a laundromat are right down the street on Rte 25. We hope you enjoy what our place has to offer! Other things to note about the property - The water is drawn from lake to the house. A 5 gallon drinking water dispenser is provided. Sheets are NOT provided, but we DO provide pillows and comforters.

Wonderful property. Location is excellent with access to White Mountains and numerous attractions in the Lakes area. Close to many restaurants and shops. View of lake from the deck and inside the house is spectacular. We spent a good deal of our time there just looking out over the lake. Boating on the lake is also excellent and property comes with two kayaks and a canoe. From our viewpoint this property is ideal.
