Enjoy a relaxing getaway at our charming “Altes Forsthaus”! Located in a quiet, idyllic setting right on the edge of the forest, we offer you the perfect escape from everyday life. Our lovingly designed vacation rental is the ideal retreat for those seeking relaxation and active families.
With its 80 m², this apartment is generously sized and specifically designed to meet the needs of families—there’s plenty of space here for everyone to feel at home.
Amenities at a glance:
• Living area: A welcoming living room with a fully equipped kitchenette and a large dining table for cozy meals.
• Bedroom 1: A cozy double bedroom for restful nights.
• Bedroom 2: Equipped with a practical bunk bed and a single bed (serves as a connecting room to the double bedroom—ideal for parents with children).
• Bathroom: Modern bathroom with a shower and toilet.
• Location: Right on the edge of the forest—ideal for hikes or simply enjoying nature.
• Ideal for: Families seeking peace and quiet who still want to explore Carinthia’s lakes and mountains.
Nestled in unspoiled nature, the Schloss Wasserleonburg estate, with its three vacation homes, is located above the village of Nötsch, at the foot of the Dobratsch.
Far from mass tourism, our cozy apartments offer the ideal space for retreat, peace, and relaxation. Get to know the local people, their traditional customs, and their way of life while you fully enjoy the breathtaking landscape, framed by the peaks of the Dobratsch, the Julian Alps, and the Carnic Alps.
The idyllic location of our vacation homes invites you to go on long hikes and walks. In addition, the numerous crystal-clear Carinthian lakes and the many ski resorts in the area make our vacation apartments a popular vacation destination in every season.
On-site costs: Included in the price: bed linens, hand and bath towels, Wi-Fi, the region’s Erlebnis CARD, and parking. Dogs are very welcome here. However, due to the increased cleaning effort, we charge a fee of EUR 12.00 per pet per night (food not included).
Check-in is from 3:00 PM to 10:00, and check-out is from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
