Nestled in the charming coastal town of St. Ives, this comfortable one-bedroom apartment offers the perfect getaway for couples seeking a peaceful and picturesque escape. Boasting stunning St. Ives views, it is only a few sandy steps away from the town center, harbor, and the scenic St. Ives railway.
The apartment features a comfortable king-size bed and a bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink. A large, well-equipped kitchen complete with a refrigerator, freezer, oven, and dishwasher allows you to prepare delightful meals, accompanied by a 4-seater dining table and chairs.
The apartment has parking for one car, although it is located only 650 meters from the train station. This makes exploring the surrounding area extremely accessible, with day trips to the majestic St. Michael's Mount or the Minack Theatre, which is cut into the edge of the Cornish cliffs.
St. Ives is a traditional Cornish fishing village with a plethora of restaurants served daily by fishing boats from its working harbor. Its pretty cobbled streets are perfect for exploring in search of a unique gift in one of its many independent shops or for grabbing a freshly brewed coffee or sourdough loaf from the array of artisan bakeries and cafes. Perhaps you could visit one of the many galleries for which St. Ives is famous, such as the Tate Gallery and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, where you'll find an ever-changing array of exhibitions.
Situated just a short 600-meter stroll from the beautiful Porthminster Beach, you'll have easy access to the golden sands and crystal-clear waters. My second stay here and it was even better than I remembered. Kitchen well equipped with everything needed, fabulous, powerful shower (useful when walking the coast path in torrential rain with mud!) amazing views, comfy bed and super linen.
