Spark by Hilton Tumwater

We traveled from Florida to Tumwater Washington. This was, by far, the best place we stayed. Will definitely go back when we visit our son again. Well done folks!

It matters where ;you stay. Sound familiar? This snobby advert slogan backfired when we tried th SPARK BY HILTON. The only thing that saved this place was newness. Not even a cup to take pills, no coffee, crummy breakfast and area. Yes it does matter where you stay….NOT HERE

When we arrived the piece was not ready we had to wait. Like. Since we had a married couple, we asked to stop by anyway because we needed the room and the bathroom was dirty. In the morning at breakfast it was 9 o'clock and there were not many things left and neither to replace

Front desk staff was really nice. Gave us the room at the end of the hall when he saw our luggage (we got in and out easier and could run back out to the car as needed). Beds were comfy, shower was great, shampoo made me smell nice. Close to Farelli's, Fred Meyer, that cute Royal Bean coffee shack (hi, Sally!). It was great!

Clean and quiet, and not too expensive, at least when I stayed there. If I have one complaint it’s that the only jelly they had at breakfast was grape, but hotel breakfast always sucks anyway. Here’s what they nailed, and I don’t understand why every hotel in the world isn’t doing this yet — the TV has streaming services on it, so you can log into your own streaming accounts, watch your own stuff, and it automatically logs you off when you check out. Why on earth are there still places that don’t do this? Why am I still watching cable channels at other hotels? I cut the cord over 20 years ago, so when I stay in a hotel it’s like going back in time. But this place doesn’t do that, and I appreciate it so much, because while I usually just check in, sleep, and get back on the road, this was one of those trips where I had to sit around the room for awhile. I’d prefer a little softer bed and a big fuzzy blanket. I like the pillows though. Signage is a bit lacking — if you drive in on the back side of the building, which is what your GPS is probably going to have you do, you are likely not to see any signs and you’ll end up trying to check into the Holiday Inn. The guy there told me it happens a lot. Overall, a good experience. I don’t know why I’d need to stay in Olympia again, but if I do, I’ll try to stay here.

Elevator didn’t work, no hot tub, they didn’t have syrup for the waffles and overall wasn’t that great. The room also had trash left in it from previous person!!

Great hotel. Clean, safe and friendly staff!

The stay was nice, clean. I wish they could let you know ahead of time that their pet charge is $50. We booked the room for $104.00 not expecting to pay 50%more for a small pet. I wish that information was more apparent when booking.

Everything was great, the location, easy parking, easy access to the freeway, clean, modern, very comfortable bed. The only negative is the breakfast options, wasn’t good compared to other hotels.

No luggage rack. no cups, no coffee maker, no microwave, extremely small refrigerator. It didn't seem like a Hilton property.

Beds were great! Slept really well. And the room we had was spacious, felt like we could move without tripping over each other. Bathroom was nice.

Enjoyed the stay, front desk guy at night was very helpful.

Great room, very large! Convenient right by the freeway. My only complaint was breakfast was lacking a bit but it was OK and at least you got one. I would stay again.

Good facility, friendly staff, rooms were spacious and fairly nice, ok breakfast. One complaint is doors slam very loudly in property. Solid three stars plus one for friendly staff.

This facility was easy to book, easy to find, and had competent staff. The amenities were slightly above average with the exception of the breakfast, which, like most hotel breakfasts, is very much lacking for protein. The coffee was weak. The immediate surroundings were below average, but it felt safe... just sort of bleh. Exercise facility was OK but, again, like most, very small. My room was on the second floor and I experienced a quiet evening and night with almost no neighbor noise. The room was clean and well-supplied. The entertainment was good quality and easy to operate. The wifi was good enough for all my needs. A good place to stay, but nothing exceptional.

The gentleman who checked us in was fantastic. Made ua laugh and truly feel welcome.
