Khalanga Penthouse

Lovely property . Very well appointed.

The property needs a painter / decorator to spruce up the apartment.

First of all, it is huge! Like... huge! Walking from the living room to the master bedroom took forever. The view over Camps Bay is splendid. Sunset. Infinity pool. Exotic birds. You got Lion's Head and Table Mountain right there at arms reach too. The kitchen is fully equipped. There's actually two kitchens... The beds are like fluffy clouds. Thanks to our host David, the place was always impeccable. You can text him if there is is anything you need. We got two bags of various foods at out arrival so there was no rush at getting to the store.

Sometimes there was a small hick-up with appliances, but one message to David and it always got fixed quickly.

Khalanga Guesthouse was echt een fantastisch verblijf. Prachtig uitzicht!! Geweldig dakterras met zwembad. Veel privacy. Alle faciliteiten perfect; grote badkamers, luxe en ruime slaapkamers met fantastische bedden. Zeer volledig ingerichte keuken/ bijkeuken met wasmachine en vaatwasser. We waanden ons in het paradijs!! En bovenal: wat een geweldig vriendelijke en behulpzame gastheer David!!!

Eigenlijk was alles perfect. OK, de "kleine slaapkamer" was erg benauwd en als je de ramen open zet dan was er veel lawaai maar dit was allemaal zeker niet storend. Naar de kust kun je prima lopen; leuke wandeling. Terug naar het huis pak je beter een Uber (stevige klim anders....)

Cape Town has always been one of our favourite destinations, but we couldn't find accommodation that was as beautiful as the city. Then we found Khalanga Penthouse - this property is perfectly situated, perfectly decorated, and most importantly was an incredible home for our holiday. We will definitely be booking again and look forward to our next stay.
